Session: SHR5 – Forward-Looking Earthquake Risk Modelling and Quantification: Recent Advances and Perspectives

Co-Conveners: Gemma Cremen, PhD (UCL), Carmine Galasso, and V. Silva.

Chen Huang (NORSAR) and co-authors presented groundbreaking results in her talk titled “Assessing Cascading Impacts of Earthquakes and Triggered Quick-Clay Landslide in Alna, Norway”. Her presentation emphasized crucial strategies for mitigating disaster effects through stakeholder engagement.
Gemma Cremen, PhD (UCL) and co-authors delivered a presentation titled “A Novel Framework For Assessing Multi-Hazard Risk And Resilience In A Changing World”. Her talk highlighted significant advancements in risk assessment.


Session: RES1 – Advanced Assessments of the Seismic Resilience of Infrastructures
